Home Town: UkSean White Mainiah California

Favorite Ocean Kayak and why:
Trident 15 - I am a big guy and this boat handles me and all of my gear with ease. The water up here is also big, and the rod pod on my 15 footer swallows all of my rods for stress free surf launches. I also freedive, and the rod pod works great for fins and guns too.

Other gear used: With a summer water temperature of around 50 degrees I wear dry gear when on the salt. There is nothing better than the technical gear made by Kokatat. They get it.

About Sean: I have loved fishing my entire life. I grew up fishing with my dad, got a degree in fisheries, and manage fisheries for a living. I also work as a guide with mi compadre Sr. Sammons in Baja. I prefer my water hot or cold…roosters or steelhead! As much as I love catching big fish myself, I really love getting kids and newbies on their first trophy. Those memories last forever!
I also love to tinker with yaks, fishing electronics and dang near anything that floats. My garage has a pile of yaks, a SUP, and a drift boat. I also like to write and I am a frequent contributor to Kayak Angler magazine.Sean White Bio Picture 2
