About Guyton: Guyton lives on the north shore of Massachusetts in a small town called Manchester By the Sea. The coastal area in his back yard is the summer home to many a striped bass and other species. Guyton started fishing from a kayak in a home built fiberglass boat he “borrowed” from his step brother back in the ‘70’s and has always had a love for any activity in, on or under the water. In the mid 90’s Guyton moved from Northern California back to MA and spent many a day in his scupper pro plying to waters near his home without another yak fisherman in sight. As a charter member at New England Kayak Fishing he is entering his second term and as president of what has become one of the premier kayak fishing organizations in New England and a successful 501c3 nonprofit group raising funds for many local charities. Guyton is also the owner of Butchie Built Custom Tackle, a manufacturer custom trolling tubes and spinners commonly used by local kayak fishermen. Guyton fishes out of his Trident 15 and his Torque and can be seen in his local waters north of Boston and at many regional Kayak shows.
